Nintendo Europe Gamers Summit dates Galaxy 2, Metroid Other M and others

The final media summit for the week is now over, this time it was Europes turn

Nintendo Australia and America have both had their time in the spotlight, and Nintendo Europe has now concluded their revealing of…well, not too much more than we already knew, but some key games were still dated.

The big three have been dated; Super Mario Galaxy 2 will hit Europe on June 11 (two weeks after America), Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies (as it will be known in Europe) is out on May 7th, which is a full month before the US get the game on June 7th. However, Metroid: Other M has also been pushed out until Q3 for Europe, while the US release is at the end of June – the end of Q2. We’ll hope this Q3 means it’s only a week or so into July.

While we still don’t have a Monster Hunter Tri date (apart from a vague May), Europe will be getting the game on April 23. Nintendo Europe, like the Americans, will also be publishing Dragons Quest IX. FlingSmash is pencilled in for the ’summer,’ no firmer date exists as of yet.

Some good and bad news in there, but now we lowly Australias will just wait for our release dates. See everything above? We have no release dates for those at all.
