A recent leak of American retailer Best Buy’s latest catalogue has revealed two interesting new DSi bundles. The first is aimed at more casual players and is the Brain Age bundle. It contains a white DSi pre-installed with Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Sudoku, Brain Age Express: Math, Clubhouse Games Express: Card Classics, and Photo Clock.
The second and core gamer-oriented bundle is the Mario bundle. It comes with a metallic blue DSi with Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!, WarioWare Snapped!, Dr. Mario Express, Mario Calculator and Mario Clock ready to play straight out of the box.
Until October 5, users who accessed the DSi Shop were awarded 1000 DSiWare Points. Now, the Brain Age bundle includes applications worth 2800 DSiWare Points (AU$49) while the Mario bundle contains 2200 DSiWare Points worth of goodness (AU$38.50).
The bundles will go on sale on Black Friday (November 27) which is the beginning of the USA’s traditional Christmas shopping season. Although the scheme for 1000 free DSiWare Points doesn’t appear to have ended here in Australia, hopefully we will see similar bundles very soon.
