Nintendo DS tops the March NPD Charts in America
The monthly NPD charts for America have been released and well, it’s nothing short of fantastic for Nintendo. Hang on, thats exactly what I wrote last month and it still stands. While the full figures are included inside, we can tell you here that the Nintendo DS remains king in the US with 508,000 units sold. The Wii came in at third place, only out-sold by the now-veteran PS2. However, Sony really has to start worrying about the PS3. It only came in at 130,000 and thats with no supply constraints. The Wii is expected to pick up next month with new production facilities now in effect.
