Nintendo DS market being killed by lack of originality

Soul Bubbles’ creative director Oliver Lejade stated in an interview that the DS market is being “”killed by lack of originality.”” Lejade believes that good, original titles are lost among the sea of shovelware and “”crappy clones”” being quickly pushed out by developers for minimal costs hoping to cash in on the success of the DS. More inside “”The public doesnt know what to choose, doesnt find any good titles, so it tends to go to established, known titles and games Nintendo games, basically.”” An interesting spin on “”people only buy Nintendo games on Nintendo consoles””, but Lejade seems to blame retailers for not giving original titles the shelf space they need.
