Nintendo Download Updates (18/7) – Lets Get PAXual
With PAXAus in full swing you might have thought we’d forget about this weeks eShop updates, never fear though as we are hear to deliver the goods.
This weeks eShop is a one-sided affair with the Wii U being left out in the rain, there’s the retail Smurfs 2 hitting and some discounts on Puddle. The latter of which you probably own anyway.
On the 3DS side things are ton more exiting with multiple Virtual Console releases and another Guild02 title. There’s also a bunch of discounts for games including a permanent reduction on the price of Virtue’s Last Reward.

Earthbound on Wii U Virtual Console doesn’t rate a mention?
Casually misses the most important virtual console game, no big deal lol
To be fair it was a complete surprise addition to this week’s update. ($13 for anyone who wants to know. The original strategy guide has been digitally included with it too!) Might just have to go and grab a $15 eShop card tomorrow…
I’m also hoping this opens the floodgates to NEW VC releases, particularly N64/GBA/GCN games.
Oh and Puddle is actually $6.50 (normally $13)
