Nintendo Download Updates (15/1) – Full Throttle Savings
It’s a big week on the eShop this week, it had better be after the terrible amount of stuff we got last week.
This big draw this week has to be the indie sale on the Wii U. A selection of games is 60% off and this includes recent releases like Guacamelee, Teslagrad, Steamworld Dig and more. The catch is you have to own one of these games already to get the 60% off. If for some reason you haven’t got any of them we’d recommend picking up Swords and Soldiers on the cheap, the investment into that game (plus its a good game) means you’ll save elsewhere.
So what else then? Ah Bandai Namco is at it again and put most of their catalog on heavy discount as well. Some good stuff there for some cheap prices. Virtual Console are treated to two new classics SNES titles, we love ourselves some Axelay. We’re not sure on this one but Shin’en has Family Tennis SP coming from Arc System Works, it’s classified but we don’t know for certain we’re going to get it here in Australia.
Last but not least is everyone’s favourite 3D After Burner II. The fine folks at M2 are back with another awesome arcade emulation.
So then, anything for you this week?

Those are some serious discounts there.. might have to add some bandai namco titles to my wii u game collection
Oh yes let’s all spend $70 on an angry birds game… What the hell?!
Great discounts.
Looking at Guacamelee, Teslagrad for sure, as well as Axelay and Demon Crest. And Afterburner.
What a week.
You should add Super Mario Galaxy 2, Spongebob Squarepants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge [(Activision, $39.95) Wii U Retail] and change the price of Spider-Man on Wii U to $39.95. Surprisingly, Angry Birds is still $69.95… ridiculousness!
Can’t see the special on Tekken, is this for another region?
