Nintendo Download Updates (13/3) Yoshi and Luigi double act

It almost feels like a baton pass, from one green sidekick to another. The Year of Luigi is pretty much over, and now we’re ramping up for a new Yoshi game, Yoshi’s New Island. The full game download should be up this Saturday, alongside it’s retail release. Also gracing our 3DS consoles this week is Pokémon Link: Battle! Hopefully you like Pokémon, and puzzles, because this is… well, Pokémon and puzzles.

A bit of a slower week on the Wii U, however, with more sales than anything else. Two Virtual Console games to check out, on top of  a wicked discount on one of the coolest looking platformers you’ll ever see (for now). Bit Trip Runner 2 comes down to about a third of the price, and is well worth it! Otherwise, check out Dr Luigi or Super Mario Bros 2, if only to celebrate the end of the Year of Luigi.
