The WiiWare service sees three new games, with two of them being catch-ups from the US. Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth is a remake of, you guessed it, the 1989 Gameboy title Castlevania: The Adventure for 1000 Points. Thats great value for a new game in the series, although if you not into the older entries in the series, this may not be for you.
Moving on, Dracula: Undead Awakening is one of the rare titles to receive both a WiiWare and DSiWare version, although they have curious price differences; itll set you back 1000 Points on WiiWare and 500 Points for the DSiWare release. The gameplay is very arcadey if the iPhone original is anything to go by, with a never-ending legion of all sorts of undead nasties needing destruction via an assortment of weapons available. Last is Reel Fishing Challenge for 500 Points; yep, another fishing game for WiiWare. It seems decent enough if youre into that sort of thing, though.
On top of that Dracula game, four other games now available on DSiWare. The first two are the final pieces of Elektroplankton, Varvoice and Marine-Crystals, for the usual price of 200 Points. Next up is the very aptly named Bird & Bombs, a Nintendo-published game by Intelligent Systems. As the title suggests, you play a bird enlisted in the army to bomb ghosts in the mouth. It sounds pretty crazy, but you cant really go wrong with a 200 Point entry price. Closing out the week is Zoo Frenzy for 800 Points, a zoo sim in which you need to complete minigames to progress. Fun times.
