The end of the year is nearly here, but the games havent stopped yet.
Its nearly the end of another download update year, but the games are yet to slow down. After the Cave Story extravaganza we had last week, itll be a little hard to top for a while. But this week isnt too bad.
WiiWare
Ben 10: Alien Force – The Rise Of Hex (Konami, 1,000 Wii Points) Your younger brother or cousins favourite cartoon is here on WiiWare. Ben Tennyson is a magical kid who has the ability to morph into a bunch of different alien thanks to this device known as the Omnitrix. Beat up aliens as different aliens? Sounds fun enough to me.
New Demo: Dive: The Medes Islands Secret.
DSiWare
Divergent Shift (Konami, 800 Nintendo DSi Points) A platformer on the DS that actually uses both screens for the platforming action. This one is a little short but it does look beautiful.
Arc Style: Everyday Football (Arc System Works, 500 Nintendo DSi Points) A cut down version of soccer for you to play, it tries and emulates Super Mario Strikers and just comes up a bit short. Not bad for 500 points though.
Virtual Console Arcade
Wolf Of The Battlefield: Commando (VC Arcade, Capcom, 800 Wii Points) Wolf of the Battlefield is from good old 1985. Impressive for its day, this arcade classic doesnt hold up so well now. Fortunately, the next arcade game does.
SonSon (VC Arcade, Capcom, 800 Wii Points) This one is from 1984 and puts you in control of a fireball throwing monkey boy. This arcade version is the original and the best. Worth taking a look.
FREEDOM WARS Remastered, Once Again and Super Onion Boy+
To pass the time.
Or in the office, we won't judge
