New Super Mario Bros 2. is almost here… and then some.
The usual Nintendo Download Update is live including a Game Boy and a DSiWare game but this weekend will see the debut of a retail Nintendo 3DS game. It is of course New Super Mario Bros. 2, but you knew that already. The price? Well it’s $69.95, making it the most expensive game on the eShop, it is a full retail price after all.
Retail Games
New Super Mario Bros. 2 (Nintendo, $69.95) – I could write a brand new blurb about this game here for you, or you could read over 1000 words of what I think of this game here in our full review. So here you go. New Super Mario Bros. 2 doesn’t go on sale on the eShop until the 18th.
3DS Virtual Console
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (Konami, $4.50) — Goemon the Mystical Ninja hasn’t been seen for a while, but he’s back… sort of. This classic action RPG has you saving Japan from the Black Ship Gang in the best Ninja way possible. I’ve never played the Game Boy version, so you’ll have to tell me how it is.
Add-On Content
Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy ($1.50 each)
March of the Dreadnoughts (FF13 – FMS)
Battle Theme (FF11 – BMS)
Esper Battle (FF12 – BMS)
Battle 2 (FF04 – BMS)
DSiWare
The Lost Town — The Jungle (CIRCLE Entertainment, 200 points)
Anything for you fine folks this weekend then?
