Nintendo Download Update: Hanabi Festival comes to a close
Another Hanabi Festival has passed us by and DSiWare and WiiWare get a refresh too
Another rare chance to know what’s coming before it’s out to the Nintendo Download. The final games in the Hanabi Festival this year will be Kirby’s Dream Land 3 and Detana!! Twinbee. Kirby’s third outing hits the SNES which is odd as the other Dream Land games were on the GameBoy.
As usual the import will set you back 900 points. Detana!! Twinbee is a vertical-scrolling shooter with a less serious tone as you fly over a cute and fluffy colourful world. This Turbografx game will set you back an inflated 700 points.
WiiWare gets a couple of games too with ColorZ another shooter but with a twist. In this game you pilot three ships one of each colour. The levels are also filled with these coloured enemies and you can only take out the enemies in the same colour of the selected ship. Heracles: Chariot Racing is from the fine people who brought you the Cocoto games, it’s in the vein of Mario Kart – but it’s not exactly of the same quality. For 800 points it may be worth a splash. ColorZ is only a mere 700 points.
The last game, is again another splitting up of Brain Training for DSi Ware and this time it’s A Little Bit of… Dr. Kawashimas Brain Training Sudoku. It’s basically all the Sudoku puzzles from first Brain Training game for 500 points. However Hudson currently has two Sudoku games on the store one of which has 150 puzzles for the same price. If you really need another Sudoku game, you should look at Hudson’s first.
