If you own a Wii (and really, if youre reading this site, you probably do) then you can have some new fun this week. There are three new games hitting the Wii; two WiiWare and one Virtual Console. However, if you own a Nintendo DSi dont even bother booting up the Nintendo store on that, theres nothing up for Aussies. So lets see what we have this week;
Virtual Console
Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory (900pts, NEOGEO, D4 Enterprise) – The oft forgotten NEO GEO library gets a boost this week with another Fatal Fury game. Fatal Fury 3 is actually more of a sequel than the second one ever was with new characters and arenas. Having never played a Fatal Fury game for more than a couple of minutes myself, I dont know much about it. Are you a fan?
WiiWare
Furry Legends (1000pts, Gamelion Studios) – Yes its called Furry Legends, yes the developers know about Furry, no they dont care. Furry Legends is a rolling platformer, which has been in development forever. There are a few glitches, but its not all that bad. This is said to be Episode 1, so there is more furry goodness on the way.
A Monsteca Corral: Monsters Vs. Robots (500pts, Onteca) – Looks like Pikmin, plays like Pikmin, but it has its own visual flair and enough gameplay differences to be good enough to stand on its own. Its only 500 points too so its worth a look in.
We miss out on Hospital Havoc, Primose and 3D Mahjong for DSiWare. Any pickups this week Wii owners?
