Two WiiWare games arrive this time, both priced at 800 points. Many of the younger ones among us are still holidaying, but those back at work with a backlog of emails probably arent feeling the best. Stop Stress: A Day of Fury, which the developers describe as ‘Office Space’ meets ‘Postal’, may be just the ticket. Set in a busy urban environment, you need to destroy, via waggle, everything in your path. Weve heard its only about an hour long, though, so be wary.
Stunt Cars is the second game, and as you can imagine involves high speed vehicle trick action, akin to Trackmania. It isnt really as good as that series, though, so unless youre craving some local multiplayer action itd probably be best to wait for the Trackmania Wii port.
That Virtual Console game? Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi was a Genesis port of the arcade sequel to the original Shinobi. It isnt mindblowing, but certainly not unwelcome for 800 points.
DSiWare, with three games, receives the most games this week. Sokomania is quite a typical Sokoban sort of game, but for 200 points its a pretty good deal. Move your Brain – Rollway Puzzle steps the price up to 500 points. Its one of those ball rolling games and requires you to navigate beach ball around the levels, with some puzzles in there to spice things up. Last is Nintendos own entry, Art Academy Second Semester, for 800 points. The only new parts of this second release in the series are the four new painting lessons to watch; the actual painting mode is the same. Only really for those wanting to continue their training from the first release.
