The second final update of the year is here, while we’ve missed one big title, we’ve received a wealth of titles for both the Wii and DS this year. Nintendo’s sending out the year with a party and there is a great WiiWare title to check out – it even has a demo. Would we have said that 12 months ago?
Virtual Console
Mario Party 2 (Nintendo 64 – 1000 Points) Nintendo honours the Virtual Console library with another Nintendo 64 game. Mario Party 2 continues the fun started in Mario Party, just with less of those analogue stick breaking mini games.
WiiWare
Hydroventure (Nintendo – 1200 Points) Also known as Fluidity in other regions, this game commands a heavy price tag but it’s a great title published by Nintendo. It’s a great water physics based puzzle game that is actually quite awesome. Worth checking it out, if you don’t feel like shelling over 1200 points, there’s a demo too.
Mix Superstar (Digital Leisure – 500 Points) The music creation genre comes to the Wii for once, usually it’s DSiWare getting all these type of games. This one is a little more complicated than say Mario Paint, but it’s pretty fully featured for 500 points.
DSiWare
Zenonia (Gamevil – 800 Points) An epic lengthen RPG comes to DSiWare, this one could be a full retail game if it really wanted too but for a mere 800 points you get a classic 16-bit looking RPG.
Music On: Drums (Abylight – 500 Points) The folks at Abylight are back, this time their music creation game takes you in to the world of being a pro rock drummer. Well maybe not, but you’ll still be able to belt out some tunes.
It's Black, Back Again.
If these aren't the coolest graphics...
Loco Motive, MySims: Cozy Bundle, Stray, Nine Souls, Servonauts.
