Americans are rightfully annoyed at this stage. They havent got a single Virtual Console game in just over a month now, whereas we in PAL land have gotten at least one a week in the past month. But of course, there isnt just a freshly new Virtual Console game out today, but one new DSiWare game and two new WiiWare games. Lets take a look.
WiiWare
HoopWorld: Basketbrawl (Virtual Toys S.L., 1000 Wii Points) – Normally in basketball you keep your distance, not in HoopWorld as youre meant to take each other on. It is subtitled Basketbrawl after all.
Family Card Games (Arc System Works, 500 Wii Points) – The ficitonal family that stars in the all of Arc System Works WiiWare games returns and this time youre playing card games such as Daifugo, Speed and Memory. Daifugo, sounds hot.
DSiWare
Drift Street International (Tantalus, 800 DSi points) – The first DSiWare game from Aussie developers, Tantalus, is finally available in Australia. Drift Street will take you racing across the US, UK and Japan sideways as you drift around the world to win. Tantalus promises this game makes use of the extra power that the DSi has. There is multiplayer action to check out as well.
Virtual Console
Wild Guns (SNES, 800 Points) – A really late SNES release here, this one was released all the way back in 1996. You play as Clint and Annie as they take on the Kid gang and an evil army of robots. Technically, the game is a third person shooter, but dont think its anything like the ones of today.
