Nintendo Download Update: All The Pretty Colours

Time for a little bit of a different article this week, instead of simply listing all the things out and writing a little about it we’re going to… well write about the one thing we’re getting this week instead. Yes just the one, but it’s quite good.

Colors! 3D is a drawing application for the Nintendo 3DS and it’s quite good and imaginative. Before seeing Colors! 3D we wouldn’t have imagined drawing on the Nintendo 3DS would be all that fun. But it looks like it is.

The application also teaches you how to paint, but if you’re not keen on that (and want to steal the intellectual property of others) then you can just paint in existing pieces of artwork and then claim them as your own. Thief! Once you’re done drawing, the next piece of artwork will be seen in a 1000 years by our descendants and be sold on auction for millions, as you can upload your artwork to the internet. Of course, if the internet isn’t around in 1000 years, you’ll get squat. Naturally you can also paint in 3D, painting on several years (you know how it is with the 3DS.)

Colors! 3D comes in at a hefty $9.00, but it’s quite good. If you and a mate buy the game together you can even collaborate to work on something grand. Seriously though, this is an impressive piece of kit.

Apart from that there are some new episodes of Shaun the Sheep 3D and the Kid Icarus Anime on your Nintendo Video app that should have downloaded earlier in the week via SpotPass.
