Five of the DSiWare titles and both WiiWare games Europe received go missing in our update

Another hefty update hits the Nintendo consoles this week with 10 3 titles hitting the shops. Virtual Console first, as we get another Mega Man title – this time its the NES classic Mega Man 4. This one allows you to charge your shots and, like all Mega Man games, is also frustratingly hard.

WiiWare gets two new titles, with one of them being rather good, and the other one not so much. Rage of the Gladiator hits for 1000 Points and is a fighting game that closely resembles the classic Punch-Out!!. But instead of beating up stereotypical frenchmen and the like, you will take on classic fantasy-type characters in first person. So its not exactly the same, but it is very similar. The other WiiWare game is Bloons, where you pop balloons. Its 500 Points for that very pleasure.

DSiWare gets the bulk of the releases again this week, which range in quality but you still may be interested in something. First up is Mr. Driller: Drill Till You Drop for 500 Points. This one was released over a year ago in Japan and has taken its sweet time getting here. For the money, you get 40 stages across three different game modes. Theres even a DSi-exclusive mode called Dristone. The next two have been seen on the DS before as retail releases so be warned, you may have played or bought them before (probably not though). Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs sounds good; I mean, fighting dinosaurs is awesome, just not here though. Its a cut-down version of the retail DS game released previously.

The other game was one of the first DSi-exclusive retail games in America. However, since releasing a game exclusive to the DSi at retail isnt the best idea, its now here on DSiWare. I am of course talking about System Flaw Recruit. Its one of those augmented reality games where you move around with the camera to shoot objects that "appear" in the real world. Its only 500 Points.

Last but not least is Pocket Pack: Words & Numbers. For 500 Points you get a collection of Anagrams, Sudoku, Kakuro, Word Cubes and Word Guess. There are also 3 more Game & Watch titles (200 Points each) which are Ball, Donkey Kong Jr. and Flagman.

WiiWare
Rage of the Gladiator (Ghostfire Games 1000 Points)
Bloons (Hands-On Mobile 500 Points)

Virtual Console
Mega Man 4 (NES, Capcom – 500 Points)

DSiWare
Mr. Driller: Drill Till You Drop (Namco Bandai – 500 Points)
Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs – Fight for Survival (Ubisoft – 800 Points)
System Flaw Recruit (Enjoy Gaming 500 Points)
Pocket Pack: Words & Numbers (Mere Mortals 500 Points)
Game & Watch Ball (Nintendo 200 Points)
Game & Watch Donkey Kong Jr. (Nintendo 200 Points)
Game & Watch Flagman (Nintendo 200 Points)

Wondering why half the article is struck out? Thats because we in Australia have only getting 3 of the 10 releases for the week. Must be that pesky NTSC to PAL conversion?
