Another week, and another update! We might actually have a fair bit of choice this week, as we not only have Animal Crossing: New Leaf coming out, but another $0.30 Virtual Console game on the Wii U.
The 3DS is a little SEGA mad, with 4 Game Gear games from the former rival hitting the eShop. I haven’t played any of these, so if you enjoyed them, let us know in the comments! But the main game you’re probably looking forward to is Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which will be available this Saturday (15/6). A lot of people are mentioning that the nature of Animal Crossing will make it better suited to a download, to avoid changing cartridges back and forth, so definitely consider getting it on the eShop.
The Wii U eShop update sees a refresh of the 30 cent Virtual Console game promotion, switching from Super Metroid to the NES classic, Mario & Yoshi. This is basically a falling block puzzle game featuring, as you might guess, Mario and Yoshi. And while you’re on the eShop grabbing your cheap game, check out the trailers from all the games announced at E3! We also get 3 Mega Man NES games to celebrate the titular character’s addition to the Super Smash Bros. roster!
So what is everyone grabbing this week? Some old school Game Gear games, playing a lot of Mega Man, or draining your weekend into Animal Crossing? Or did I just answer my own question? Post in the comments below!
