Nintendo Download: The force is sort of strong with this one

A pretty average week this week, one each for the download platforms. But maybe, there is something that interests you

Whether you own a DSi or Wii this week, there is something for everyone with the Virtual Console, WiiWare and DSiWare services getting one game each. There is some heavy hitters like Worms, Cave Story, LIT, Lost Winds 2 and Uno on the way however, so you might want to hang onto your Nintendo space bucks. Have a look at the line up.

INTERSECT is a puzzle game with a difference, challenging your concentration and reflexes. Direct differently coloured cars through a crossroad so that only cars of the same colour occupy a road. This will generate fuel, which is ignited to propel the precious Core away from the approaching Spike. Earn high scores to win medals and even unlock new visual themes and music tracks.

Play in Button Mode, using the +Control Pad to direct cars, or try Touch Mode and use the stylus. Each mode includes the single-player Endless mode, VS CPU mode and also VS 2P for playing against a friend using DS Download Play.

WiiWARE – “Aha! I Got It!” Escape Game

Use your head and solve the puzzles to escape the room Milo is in. Play alone or with family and friends to solve this puzzling adventure game.

Today is Milo’s birthday and he gets an amazing present from his dad – a room of puzzles that he likes to solve. Milo needs to solve all the puzzles to escape from the room.

Use the Wii Remote and SHAKE!, PUSH!, TWIST! to interact with, collect, and use items you find in the game. There is plenty to solve using all of the Wii Remote’s tricks and treats. See if you have what it takes to figure it all out.
