Nintendo of America has announced its plan for E3 2017 it looks like the focus will main be on the Switch games releasing in 2017.

There will also be a return of the Nintendo Treehouse and live tournaments for Splatoon 2 and ARMS, both of which will be at the Nintendo Booth.

The ‘main’ part of E3, which in previous years has been called the ‘Digital Event’ is now called the Nintendo Spotlight. It will take place on Wednesday, June 14th at 2 am AEST in Australia. Nintendo says it’ll focus on Switch and 3DS games for release in 2017, specifically mentioning Super Mario Odyssey.

Next up the return of the Nintendo Treehouse Live. It’ll start immediately after the Nintendo Spotlight and feature the Treehouse team and other Nintendo staff members playing through the games just announced.

There’s also a huge focus on competitive gaming with the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational and the 2017 ARMS Open Invitational to take place live from the Nintendo E3 Booth.

Vooks will be at the show this year to bring you all the latest. Stay tuned.
