Is your body ready for this year's E3?
Nintendo has just announced its E3 2015 plans and they’re pretty amazing (as is the video that goes with it).
Like last year Nintendo will be showing all of its good off with a ‘Nintendo Digital Event’ broadcast. Essentially an extended Nintendo Direct, last years broadcast showed off Nintendo’s big announcements splashed with humour and a tongue in cheek. We’re happy to see it again.
The main event kicks off on Tuesday, June 16th at 9am Pacific Standard time. Worldwide times are below.
Returning also is a series of live Treehouse @ E3 broadcasts which will show off any newly announced titles over the course of the week live from the E3 show floor. American’s will also be able to try out Mario Maker in selected Best Buy stores, hopefully with less drama than last year.
The big announcement however is the return of the Nintendo World Championships. Returning after a 25 year absence the Championships will pit some of Nintendo’s biggest fans in a ‘head-to-head gaming showdown for the ages’. This event takes place on the Sunday before E3 kicks off.
Never heard of the World Championships? Nintendo’s video for this year’s E3 should get your body ready.
This is main ahem, event, the big show – the one you need to watch. Like every E3 it’s not at the best time for Aussies but is usually worth staying up for.
Held before E3 this revival of The Nintendo World Championships will be something not to miss for any Nintendo fan. This will be held on the 14th of June (LA local time), before E3 kicks off. A specific start time hasn’t been announced as of yet.
Specific times for the Nintendo Treehouse @ E3 broadcasts will be announced at a later date. We’ll update them here once announced.
We expect Nintendo to also announced another Q&A type panel for the second day of E3, we’ll add this time when and if they announce such a thing.
It’s still a bit early out, but you should have these bookmarked anyway.
Be sure to bookmark this post we will be updating it along the way!
See how much you did, or didn't play things.
