Seemingly can’t print them fast enough.

The rest of the world hasn’t even got them yet and there’s already a delay with the Animal Crossing amiibo cards in Japan.

Series 2 was set to go on sale at the end of September in Japan but that’s been put aside as Nintendo has gone back to Series 1 to be able to meet demand. New shipments are coming in Japan in late August, Series 2 won’t be printed until there’s more of Series 1 out there.

Have no fear though, when the game launches here on October 3rd we’re sure there will be plenty of cards available here in Australia.

Right?

In other Animal Crossing amiibo card news Nintendo of Europe has announced a Collectors Album to keep your amiibo cards minty fresh. There’s space for a 100, the whole first series. Assuming you can find them of course. The album comes with a 3-card pack so you have something to put in it to start.
