Nintendo: Consumers wont mind picking up more MotionPlus units
Wii Sports Resort comes with one MotionPlus unit, but its a party game. So will people spend the extra for multiplayer shenanigans?
Wii Sports Resort launched last week here in Australia, and while you may have picked up another Motion Plus in either Tiger Woods or Grand Slam Tennis theres a good chance youll only have the one that came with it. So is this a problem for a multiplayer focused game? According to Nintendo its not as they expect people wont hesitate to spend the extra money if they think theyll get something out of it.
Speaking in a new interview, Bill Trinen from Nintendo America has said "So I think already, there are audiences that feel that Wii MotionPlus clearly brings something new to the table, [that it] creates something new that you cant have anywhere else. And I think that, as long as thats the case, that people are going to — if they feel theres value in that experience — that they wont hesitate to pick up a second one."
So reader, did you pick up one or more extra Motion Plus units for your Wii Sports Resort experience?
