Nintendo confirms support for up to 2TB SDXC cards, Breath of the Wild size revealed

The Nintendo Switch doesn’t come with a lot of space inside of it, just 32GB less the operating system. Luckily unlike an iPad or similar tablet we can expand that memory – up to 2TB using Micro SDXC cards. The only problem is that these 2TB cards are insanely expensive and don’t really even exist yet. However you should be able to pick up a 256gb or 512gb card for a lot cheaper, it’s not like there’s 2TB of games to play yet either way.
That’s good news because its been revealed to IGN that Breath of the Wild will take up 13.4GB of space on the console. With the OS and included apps, that could be almost have your inbuilt space gone.

I know they wanna keep costs down and all but would it hurt to have 128gb built in as a default? Is the 32gb thing a legacy for the wii u?
Are we sure that’s not just a full install off thee shop? Because the carts should be faster and not need to be installed. SDXC cards should be slower to about the same speed so installing it makes no sense at all.
