Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System pre-sells out in Australia
If you were after a Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System you better have pre-ordered one already.
EB Games and JB Hi-Fi have already sold out of their first allotment of the console, in fact EB Games stopped taking orders on Saturday. The system has been removed from their website homepage and a ‘second shipment’ preorder has surfaced.
There’s some good news though, Nintendo Australia may pull a ‘Fire Emblem Fates’ and get more stock and bump everyone to the first shipment (we can hope). More realistically we’ve been told that Target will have units on day one, so that’s good!
The Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System is out in Australia on November 10th for $99.95 and contains 30 built in NES games and a classic controller capable controller.

Thought this might happen, as I can see Nintendo having little to no idea how successful this product could be. So instead of flooding the market and having stock sitting on shelves they took the more conservative approach. My guess is they will have a re-stock in early december
i’m so glad i pre ordered one straight away.
Planning on casually walking into Target the morning of release and picking one up. They have generally served me pretty well with rare Nintendo stuff. Bit of a risk, but if worst comes to worst I would say there will be restocks in future, unless Nintendo decide they don’t like making money any more that is!
