Nintendo claim DS best selling system in the US for 2007

Nintendo has begun the gloating season a bit early today declaring that the Nintendo DS will be the top selling system of the year in the US. More than 6 million of our favourite portable have sold this year in America and according to Nintendo that is one sold every 5 seconds. Another fun fact is that the DS has increased in sales every year since its launch. Nintendo Americas George Harrison says that “”There’s no letup in sight, Nintendo DS appeals strongly to both core and casual gamers, and its momentum is set to propel us into 2008.””
