Nintendo CEO goes on the offensive, The Regginator strikes again

In a recent interview with Mercury News A+E interactive, Nintendo of America’s bigshot Reggie Fils Aime had more than a few things to say about competition in the next generation from Microsoft and Sony. Fils Aime said that Playstation 3 inventory is “”stacking up worldwide,”” and reasons that this is because the system is far too expensive and doesn’t yet have the right games. He also says Sony is taking a risky gamble with the success of the blu-ray media format, as well as how much consumers are willing to shell out for a game console. Fils Aime also suggested that the Wii user base could surpass that of Microsoft’s XBOX 360 in the near future if current sales maintain their velocity.
