Nintendo is bringing Mario Kart to mobile with Mario Kart Tour

Nintendo has just dropped a blue shell and announced Mario Kart Tour for mobile. The game will be coming in Nintendo’s next financial year which is anytime after April 2018 until March 2019.
So far all they’ve shared is the logo and said more details will be coming ‘when appropriate’.
The checkered flag has been raised and the finish line is near.
