Retail and Download versions both get the rewards.
Nintendo Australia is offering double the amount of Club Nintendo stars you receive when you buy New Super Mario Bros. 2 and register it on the Club before September 26th.
If you’ve bought the game in-store you’ll get 200 stars when you register the game and complete the survey. If you’ve bought game through the eShop you’ll receive 400 stars, however you’ll have to have your Club Nintendo account linked before you do so.
If you’ve bought it digitally and linked your account it will take about 2-3 hours for the survey to appear in your Club Nintendo account. Although Nintendo doesn’t say you’ll have to buy this from the Australian eShop for it to work we bet.
Softens the blow a little of paying full price on the eShop, a little bit at least. Everyone’s a winner though.
Down down, sales are down. Zelda debuts strong.
