Nintendo Australia finally join social media

And it only took five years!

In a rather surprising and out of left field move, Nintendo Australia have launched both a Facebook page and Twitter profile to keep in touch via it’s local media platforms.

We don’t know too much as to what Nintendo plans to do with these pages – outside of the usual events and game updates for the 3DS and Wii U, but it’s great to see Nintendo Australia finally establish some presence on social media to interact with fans and the greater community.

It also means our editor in chief might stop being mistaken as a Nintendo Australia employee on Facebook and Twitter too…….maybe.
For your convenience we’ve linked the profile pages below.

And just in case you haven’t been with it lately – Nintendo Australia have had, for several years now, an official website too – http://www.nintendo.com.au
