As the December 7th launch of its innovative Wii home video game console draws near, Nintendo Australia has today confirmed the launch line-up and accessory details. Wii will be sold at an affordable, mass-consumer SRP of just $399.95. The price includes one wireless Wii Remote controller, one Nunchuk controller and the ground breaking collection of five different Wii Sports games on one disc, which anyone can play using simple movements.

A complete list of the launch games, pricing for Nintendo first party games and accessory pricing including that beloved Component Cable inside. On launch day Nintendo will have available:
– Wii Sports: A compilation of tennis, baseball, golf, bowling and boxing, packed-in with every Wii console.
– Wii Play: That contains 9 games on one disc, available with Wii Remote for SRP$79.95.
and the most anticipated launch title of all
– The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the greatest Zelda adventure to date for SRP$99.95.

Wiis self-loading media bay also can play the entire library of hundreds of Nintendo GameCube titles from day one.

Add to this around 20 third party titles from the worlds largest distributors, and Wii will offer the most extensive launch window software line-up in the history of video gaming, including: The action packed Red Steel and the out of control Rayman: Raving Rabbids both from Ubisoft. The adrenaline rush of Tony Hawks Downhill Jam from Activision as well as the animated hit Disney-Pixars Cars from THQ. Add to these great games and quality game franchises such as: Madden NFL 07 and Need for Speed Carbon from Electronic Arts; Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, Barnyard and SpongeBob Squarepants: Creature from Krusty Krab from THQ; Monster Truck 4 x 4: World Circuit, Open Season, GT Pro Series, Far Cry: Vengeance and Tom Clancys Splinter Cell Double Agent from Ubisoft; Call of Duty 3 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance from Activision.

Additional Wii Remote controllers will sell for SRP$69.95. Accessories such as the Nunchuk controller and the Classic controller will be available for SRP$29.95. Consumers will also have the option of purchasing a Wii Play + Wii Remote bundle for only SRP$79.95. Wii Play is a compilation title that contains 9 games on one disc. With fantastic games such as Shooting, Laser Hockey, Billiards, Table Tennis and more, Wii Play + Wii Remote represents great value for those looking to add a second Wii Remote to their collection.

A Wii Component Video Cable will also be available, for a higher quality video signal, at SRP$49.95.
