Nintendo Australia confirms Majora’s Mask New 3DS pre-sold out, second shipment in March
Nintendo Australia has confirmed via its social media account that the New Nintendo 3DS XL Majora’s Mask Edition is now essentially pre-sold sold out.
Late last week EB Games stop taking preorders in the middle of the day, JB Hi-Fi online sold out in 44 minutes and other retailers like The Gamesmen had stock as early as this morning – now it’s all gone.
There’s good news though, but you’ll need to be a patient kind of person. Nintendo has announced that a second wave of the consoles will hit in March. That’s sometime after the games and original consoles release but if you really want one – now you have an avenue to it.
EB Games is of course already taking preorders.
So did you miss out the first time, will you wait to March for the second shipment? Let us know in the comments!
Will EB Games learn and adapt like their American brethren and limit people to one per customer? I am hearing reports of multiple units being bought in the same order. Funny.
It looks like you can only preorder 1 per customer on the website atm
Good move, hopefully legit buyers will get a chance this time and it might even put off the scalpers..
I went to EB games today, and pre-orders for March were still available.
And… still going. I’m shocked. Did we get the same number of units as the US or something? Because their online pre-orders lasted 15 minutes… and they still exceeded allocated stock, with Best Buy now cancelling orders.
They’re all sold out now from EB…I’m surprised the MH4 one is still available, thought it was the better looking of the two.
I wonder if this will apply for the States as well.
