Nintendo has informed us about a new Wii bundle, the first since the Wii’s release in late 2006. Along with a black or white Wii console, Wii Sports and a Nunchuk, the updated package will contain Wii Sports Resort and the new Wii Remote Plus. If you haven’t been following, the Wii Remote Plus is the first revision of the Wii Remote, and has MotionPlus functionality built in, so there’s no need to buy a separate MotionPlus.
The great thing about the new bundle is that it will be the same price as the current one, at $299.95. It’ll be available from October 28. The new Wii Remote Plus will also be available separately, more on that soon.
If you were holding out on buying a Wii, it might be a great time to get one!
