Nintendo Australia announce Wii U Tour Around Australia
Nintendo Australia has just announced that it’ll be touring the Wii U all around Australia starting from next week! If you didn’t get to go to EB Expo now is your chance to get your hands on with the console before it’s release. You’ll be able to go hands on with the Wii U at the two experience stores in Melbourne and Sydney and the rest of the country gets ‘Wii U Experience Pop Up‘ events.
Don’t stress if you can’t get to each location on a particular day, each location runs for at least a week meaning you could go back again for more.
The announcement only names New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land as playable but there are also ‘loads of pre-release Wii U titles to try’. There will also be some Nintendo 3DS games to sample as well.
Well I know where I will be on Monday then. What about you?
Nothing for NT?
So cancelling my pre-order…
‘sif not The Nintendo Experience @ Swanston St…
Definitely going to the Adelaide one.
Weird thing though, late night in the CBD is on Friday night, so I have no idea why they will be there until 21.00 on Thursday. Everyone other shop will be closing 2 hours before haha.
I woulda thought they’d be more aggressive than this! Well, one place per state is better than no places per state :/
Yeah I recall the Wii one went all over the place. I ain’t going all the way out to Fountain Gate.
Yes, It goes till December 5th!
No ACT? That is upsetting.
Good stuff, can’t wait to go !
Anyone else get an invite to the VIP event in Perth?
Yeah I got one too. Not sure what’s so exclusive about it though, I might just end up going first thing in the morning anyway.
I’m not going to bother, to close to launch. if I wasn’t convinced and needed some motovation to buy a wii u I would but the brisbane one finishes a week before launch.
I could go for some sreet pass hits i suppose?
What a joke. Why not go around to the major shopping centers like what they did with the Wii? Or even at least in the city. That’s too far. I bet they went there because it’s closer to their headquarters. Kind of cheap and lazy on their part.
