Nintendo America are now asking for your help to test its Wifi Connection out! You can access the download page here, However you must have an account on Nintendo.com to download the tool. (All you need a Internet Connection for this Test, Not Wireless)

Make Sure to Read the Full Story for all the Info This Testing Process is getting people with all sorts of different Connection Setups to see if Nintendo Wifi Connection will run on your Computer. Along with Nintendo’s normal testing it will give the Nintendo technicians vital data on how gamers are connected to the internet. The data will be used to help Nintendo in setting up its Wi-Fi Connection service for the Nintendo DS later this year.

The Software it downloads actually has another cool purpose, a Animal Crossing Clock runs in the corner of your screen while it does a simple test in the background. After 10 minutes or so It will come up with a report which you can choose to send to Nintendo or not. Though Nintendo has yet to announce the official launch day of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service, it’s expected to debut in October in the US and in November in Australiawhen Mario Kart and Animal Crossing Launch here, whether the third party games like including Tony Hawk DS and Ultimate Card Games are released in the same period here remains to be seen.

Again here is the link to download here

It would be good to get lot and lots of people to do this so Nintendo can Maximise the Wifi Connection Compatibility with everyone, if you think your Router, Internet or Wifi setup my not be appropriate for Nintendo Wifi Connection then try it so if it does have a problem Nintendo will hopefully fix it before the year is out.
