Nintendo are thirsty for your Zelda anticipation

General game communities for MiiVerse are here already

The MiiVerse has been a rather unique and interesting way to communicate with gamers while online, but many have lamented about the fact there is no place to discuss franchises in general rather than specific games.

Nintendo have this evening put online a general Legend of Zelda community on the MiiVerse as a way for fans to interact and chat to each other about the Zelda franchise. Given that we have both a new Zelda adventure coming for the Wii U, as well as a nostalgia packed Wind Waker HD Remake, this seems like the most appropriate place to start for Nintendo.

Nothing else was really discussed besides the fact that Eiji Aonuma will be dropping in from time to time to give us updates or just comment on stuff he likes – Nintendo urged us to keep an eye out for him and his posts.

While this isn’t anything amazingly interesting, it’s interesting to ponder if Nintendo will begin marketing their games pre-release through features like this. For now, we just await Mr. Aonuma to drop his first bomb in the Zelda community on MiiVerse.

We’re perched and ready, Aonuma.
