Nintendo aquires licence for Handwriting Technology
In a press released issued today Zi Corporation has annouced that Nintendo are licensing their handwriting technology for use with the Nintendo DS. The technology allows Nintendo to use handwriting recognition technology within games, this will allow text entry much like a PDA.
This could open the door for more kind of Brain Training games as well as crosswords, Suduko, etc. This will make those types of games very easy to develop and allow Nintendo keep offering them cheap.
