Nintendo announces Gamescon line-up sans 3DS
The German Games Convention is on again for another year and yes, Nintendo will be there.
With the E3 barely gone by its already time for yet another big convention and that of course is the Gamescon convention in Germany. Nintendo will be there in full force with most of its E3 wares but there will be no 3DS this time. Sadly convention attendees with have to settle for games including Metroid Other M, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Wii Party and Kirby’s Epic Yarn on the Wii. On the DS side of things the new Professor Layton game Professor Layton and the Lost Future will appear along with Tetris Party Deluxe, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn and Mario vs Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem. See those poor souls miss out on all the fun.
With the lack of the 3DS at the show this again puts the 3DS release date into further speculation. We know it’ll be out sometime before March 2011 but with private events being held already in Europe and retailers saying 2010 it’s really anyones guess still at this point.
