Nintendo of America has revealed on its Facebook page the day one lineup for the Wii U Virtual Console.
The games will be up sometime this week, they are set to launch ‘the day after’ the Wii U Spring Update goes live. When that happens exactly only Nintendo knows for now but it will be before the end of the week.
The following games coming to America are, local titles may be different;
The Wii U Virtual Console will have customisable controls, integration with Miiverse to share screenshots and comments and supports Off TV play. If you have already bought these games on the original Wii Virtual Console a small fee. (between 50c and $1.50). You can still play these games via Wii mode on the Wii U, but it won’t have the new features.
Find out more about the Wii U Spring Update will be doing when its released later this week in our previous coverage.
We hope Nintendo ‘pump out’ the Virtual Console titles on the Wii U Virtual Console, a drip feed of one or two titles over many years is really painful. The games selected for the launch are also games that are available already as part of the 30c Promotion and on the 3DS. Some variety would have been nice.
See how much you did, or didn't play things.
