Nintendo America announces Nintendo TVii

Free services help you watch more TV.

While most of Nintendo’s conferences were all about the games, Nintendo America took a little time off to show off a new service for the Wii U. It’s exclusive to North America so don’t get too excited.

It’s called Nintendo TVii and is your doorway to a bunch of TV related services. It’s not its own service but instead will let you see the TV Guide and plan what to watch, schedule recordings on TiVo, put items in your Netflix queue and much more. It will also integrate into other social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook, and you’ll be able to share what you’re watching with others not only on those networks but also among your Wii U Friends.

It’s a little hard to explain, but that’s why Nintendo made this trailer for it. Could also be due to the fact that it’s 1am…
