Nintendo 3DS midnight launches around Australia
Theyre all at EB Games stores so far, but its a start
Didnt see this one coming, did you? But yes, the Nintendo Experience in Melbourne will be holding the "official" midnight opening and launch event for the Nintendo 3DS in Australia.
The EB Games store on Swanston St will be open from 10:00pm–1:00am (this Thursday/Friday). Though of course the console goes on sale at midnight. But therell be a ton of fun activities happening while you wait, with Nintendo and EB games putting out food, soft drinks and music. Plus, everyone will not only go into the draw to win a Nintendo 3DS, but also take home their own Mii souvenir. Not to mention once you pick up your console, itll be a great chance to get StreetPass working right away.
