The latest firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS has hit and is now sitting at version 8.0.0-18E. Naturally if you’re in America that’s 8.0.0-18U.
Nintendo says the update is just a mere stability update and that it enhances your user experience. However the previous firmware was on version 7, you don’t jump a whole number (to 8) on stability updates. It’s likely that there’s a ton of behind the scenes changes here and we won’t see them in any way.
