Its not long now until the general dirty unwashed public (Im talking about us) gets their hands on the Nintendo 3DS, and soon after that, the rest of the world. 3D displays arent good for kids with developing eyes and Nintendo knows this. So, for the first time they have detailed the relevant safety instructions for playing games in the wonderful world of 3D.
Nintendo recommends currently to take a break after every hour of play, however with the 3DS, a break of every 30 minutes is suggested. "If your physical condition worsens or you become ill, please stop playing at once," says Nintendo in a statement.
Kids under 6 are recommended not to play with the 3D graphics as kids eyes are still developing and it could cause trouble later in life. Nintendo is even going as far as putting in parental controls that can lock the 3DS in the wonderful world of 2D.
