The 90s are back.

Nintendo Europe has announced two new colours for the Nintendo 2DS and it’s a couple we haven’t seen since the late 1990s.

From the 7th of November there will be Transparent Blue and Transparent Red 2DS consoles released, later in the month on the 28th they will also be included in new bundles alongside Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. We’ll find out if they’re coming to Australia.

Transparent tech and especially Nintendo consoles were all the rage in the 90s. The Gameboy Pocket, Color, Advance and even the Nintendo 64 all came in transparent hues at one point.

They were cool then, you were the most radical if you had one.

Are they still radical now?
