While last night’s Nintendo Direct might not have shown a whole load of entirely new stuff, the next Nintendo Direct will.
In a tweet from the Nintendo America account, they have confirmed that Iwata will talk about the new Smash Bros., 3D Mario game and Mario Kart for Wii U before the E3 which starts on June 11.
So within three weeks you will see all of those games and more.
Not long to wait now.

Online Mario Kart and Smash Bros will be a given but I will cream if I see an open world action platformer for the 3D Mario game.
I’m hoping we see more than screenshots, as previously hinted at by previous Nintendo Direct broadcasts. I’m sure we will, though.
Heck, I’d be happy for an announcement of Smash Dojo coming back.
I want Nintendo to be more transparent with their games. Half the time that’s the problem. They have killer games in development but they don’t show it off.
Times almost up. If the PS4 and Xbox Infinity launch with a killer game it’s game over.
