Next Level games ready another crack at Punch-Out!!
Were still waiting for the first, but Next Level Games want another go at a Punch-Out!! Game
The fantastic Punch-Out!! Could get another round in the ring if Next Level Games have anything to do with it. But it won’t be a simple sequel with more fighters: No, Next Level Games have ideas and plenty of them. Speaking to the Official Nintendo Magazine UK the game play lead Bryce Holliday would love to make a sequel. Some of the features they suggested would be "Cooperative, competitive multiplayer support or create-a-boss mode would be places to start, but we’d need to come up with a new ’hook’ like the motion controllers gave us in this iteration.".
This sentiment of change is supported by Nintendo producer Kensuke Tanabe, who has told Kotaku in an interview that they’re "not planning a sequel where simply the fighters are replaced.” Tanabe says that if a sequel was coming it would be done in a "totally new, different way."
