New Wii U bundle featuring Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8 arrives in Australia this December

Still no price drop though.

Nintendo Australia has announced a brand new Wii U Premium Bundle for busy Christmas period, there’s no price drop on this one but it does include Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros.

Weirdly Mario Kart 8 will be pre-installed, Super Smash Bros will require a download (and take up nearly half of the space). The bundle will retail for $429. There’s some extra savings there for sure, but its still obstinate of Nintendo not to drop the price of the system at all, after all – how long does it have left?
