The Brits are set to receive the first new Wii bundle from Nintendo since the consoles launch in 2006, and chances are good are well get it too

The new bundle will contain both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort as well as a single MotionPlus attachment to go with the single Wii remote and nunchuk. The package comes straight from Nintendo and will replace the current product that has been the only option available for the last three years. No price is attached to the new SKU, but it is likely to be the same as the current RRP of the plain old vanilla Wii console. Such a bundle would explain recent mixed messages from Nintendo who are on the verge of dropping the price by $50 USD in North America. So no price drop for our pork-pie eating ancestors in Old Blighty, but a package that is equally as enticing and just in time for Christmas. Don’t be surprise if we end up with the same bundle instead of a price drop here in Australia.

For those readers who aren’t geeky enough to know what a SKU is- it means ‘store keeping unit’ and refers to the different versions of a particular product sent to retail.
