German Nintendo Magazine N-Zone has published a huge story on the upcoming Wii version of The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and in this story has revealed some really good information about the length of the game, how many dungeons and the chronologically of the game. While its not all new it is still rather interesting, if you would like to see the scans header over to NeoGAF or read the translated dot points within!
– According to Eiji Aonuma the game will be around 70 hours long including all side quests with as many dungeons as Ocarina of Time. Some of them will be similar to dungeons in OoT and other Zelda games, others will be totally different and there are 9 Temples in Total.
– Link is right handed in the Wii version and left handed in the GCN version
– They compare the sword of the DarkNnut to Phantom Ganons sword in The Wind Waker
– The game is after Ocarina of Time chronologically
– Wolf Link can gain abilities as he progresses
– No WiiConnect24 or Online Support.
– Horse is faster than Epona in Ocarina of Time
– You have the horse quite early in the game, and then your ways split. Later in the game you meet your horse again and you can give it a name.
– The GameCube version was nearly completed when they decided to put in the wii controls.
– The transition from NGC to Wii control scheme was quite difficult and they changed it again recently. Now they can concentrate on fine tuning the game.
– When link becomes a wolf his sense of smell is higher so that he can find hidden things that he couldnt find as normal Link.
– Midna plays a very important role in the storyline
– There will be other minigames besides of fishing. You can use the canoe that you use for fishing also as a means of transport in the game and there are minigames where the canoe is involved.
