New TMNT game revealed for Wii

To be released in September 2009, is a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. While some of the past games have been ridiculous, others pretty decent, this game is being worked on by some of the people who worked on Brawl, and some former members of Tecmo’s Team Ninja (Who worked on Ninja Gaiden and the Dead or Alive series). The game will be a 2.5D fighter, and will feature interactive stages, unlockable characters and stages, 4 player versus, a Story Mode, Battle Mode and Tournament Mode. More inside
As well as these there are options such as Winner/Loser Stays, and a Practice mode to hone your skills. Each character will be colour coded to help prevent you losing track of who you are, and the online aspects are said to be better than Brawls. The game is to be published by Ubisoft, and one of the producers commented that: While this is a licensed game, its not tied to any movie or TV showfor this game to succeed on its own it needs to be a great game. It sounds like this will be one damn good game, let’s hope it lives up to its expectations.
